ServSafe Food Handler Training
ServSafeŽ, the National Restaurant Association’s Food Handler Program, is a complete solution that delivers consistent food safety training to employees. The program covers five key areas:
- Basic Food Safety
- Personal Hygiene
- Cross-contamination & Allergens
- Time & Temperature
- Cleaning & Sanitation
Kerri Wade, Kanawha County’s Families and Health Extension Agent, is a certified ServSafeŽ instructor. Participants who complete the training and pass the exam will be ServSafeŽ certified.
Cost is $150.00 for two days of training, course book, exam and exam score (scores will be mailed to the participant). Participants will be notified when their course book is ready for pick-up and are expected to have read it prior to class. A minimum of 5 participants are required in order to conduct the class. Additional classes will be scheduled as needed.
