Eat, Shop and Save the Pool with Santa
Memories of 4-H camp?? Making friends? Council circle? Cooling down in the Sleepy Glen pool. These are fond remembrances of Camp Virgil Tate. Unfortunately, for the last three years there have been no cool waters in the pool to refresh campers from the summer heat. Sadly, the pool has sat silently empty for the last three years due to a devastating leak which rendered the facility un-repairable. Now hundreds of campers come to Virgil Tate each summer without the joy and recreation of swimming.
Kanawha County WVU Extension Service and the Kanawha County 4-H Foundation are partnering to raise funds to rebuild the pool at historic Camp Virgil Tate, Kanawha County’s 4-H Camp. The camp is home to many different local events and groups.
